Poker rake and payouts

The rake for the five-seat Sit & Go tournament is 3-5 percent, while the rake for the two-seat Sit & Go tournament is 3 percent. Almost all of our poker games have a payout that is a certain percentage of the pot. However, we do not calculate the rake if the hand ends in the first betting round. In addition, there is a maximum limit to the rake we collect per hand. See below for details on rake types:

Texas Hold'em
Cash NL4 NL10 NL25 NL50 NL100 NL200 NL400 NL800
Rake % 1 3 5 5,5 6 6 6 6

50% Rake-discount (cap)! Play for cash at least at a two- or three-handed table, and we'll give you a 50% rake discount (cap)! You don't have to do anything - the rake is automatically lowered to give you more to win in the pot. This also means that every time you open a new table, you pay less rake cap until the table is full.

Example You are playing an NL100 table where you have only two opponents. You play against one of them and the pot has a total of 100 euros. Normally, the rake cap would then be 3 euros, which in turn would mean that there would be 97 euros in the pot. When there are two or three players at the table, the rake is reduced by 50 percent. In the example situation, the size of the inherited structure is therefore 1.50 euros, not 3 euros - the pot would therefore have a total of 98.50 euros, not 97 euros.

Tournament fees We usually also charge a small fee for organizing tournaments. The amount depends on the game format, but normally we take 3-10% of the buy-in.

For example, in a €10 MTT tournament, €9 goes to the prize pool and €1 to payments.

Poker tickets

From promotions and tournaments, you can get promotional tickets that let you play cash games for free. There are three types of tickets:

  • Tournament ticket (participate in the tournament specified in the ticket)
  • Group ticket (choose any of the tournaments of the group defined in the ticket)
  • General ticket (choose any tournament)

Note The value of the ticket must be the same as the buy-in of the tournament you choose.

In the lobby of the poker application, you will see a ticket symbol next to the tournaments where you can use your promotional tickets. Your ticket is valid for a limited time.

The winnings you get with the promotional ticket are bonus money, which has a so-called recycling condition. You can check the value, validity period and recycling conditions of your ticket on the profile page.

Safety

Is the Poker reliable?

In poker room games, the cards are dealt with a random number generator, so the drawing of the cards is completely random. Players' bets or choices during the game do not affect the distribution of cards.

Independent auditors regularly perform tests to ensure the functionality of the random number generator. The operation of the poker room is supervised by the Malta Gaming Authority.

In the poker room, so-called HUD reflection displays or trackers. You can change your poker alias whenever you want. These make it impossible for other players to track your behavior, increasing your chances of winning.

Solutions for problem situations

If the player loses connection to the server when the turn hits, the server waits until the end of the thinking time and adds an extra 20 seconds to establish a new connection.

If establishing a new connection is not successful within the given time, the game makes a decision on behalf of the player. The decision is check (if possible) or fold (in other cases). In addition, the player is checked out of the table at the end of the hand. If the entire hand cannot be played to the end due to server problems, the hand will be canceled completely and all bets will be paid back to the players. If the contribution is not used within 90 days, it will be donated to charity.

General rules

You can only have one game account and you can participate in each tournament only once. Misconduct may result in a warning, rejection from the tournament (and voiding of any winnings) or closure of the Pokerihuone game account.

Server problems

If the server crashes, the ongoing hand will be cancelled. The players' chips are returned to match the situation before the hand.

Understanding and following the rules

By playing cash games, the player confirms that he has read, understood and accepted the rules. The game organizer has the right to make changes to the rules without prior notice.

Tournament cancellation conditions

If a multi table or Sit & Go tournament is cancelled, the cancellation conditions depend on the stage of the tournament:

- The tournament hasn't started yet. All registered players will receive a refund of buy-in and other fees, including multi-entry fees.

Payments are returned in the same form in which they were paid. If the player has paid for the tournament with a ticket, he will get a similar ticket instead.

If the canceled tournament was the last one for which the ticket could be used, the player will receive the value of the ticket in money or as a new ticket.

- The tournament has started, but the players haven't won yet. All remaining players will get their tournament fees back. The remaining money is divided into two equal parts. The first part is divided equally among all remaining players. The second part is distributed to all players in proportion to the chips.

If the tournament prize was tickets and entrances to other tournaments, the prizes will be converted into money and distributed as mentioned above.

If the tournament had a guaranteed pot or added money, they will be distributed in the normal way.

- The tournament has started and the players are winning. All remaining players will get their tournament fees back. After that, all remaining players will receive the prize money according to the lowest ranking. The remaining money is distributed to all players in proportion to the chips.

An exception is a situation where the tournament has progressed to the final table (6 or 9 hands). In this case, the payments are returned normally, but the remaining money is distributed to all players according to the independent chip model formula. Players must be winning at the final table at the time the game is suspended for this condition to be fulfilled. If the tournament had a guaranteed pot or added money, they will be distributed in the normal way.

In cases of doubt, the management of the Poker Room makes the final decision.
